I love taking friends who enjoy theater and introduce them to shows I love. Mauricio was the perfect rush companion; very patient and just starting to realize the excitement of Broadway in NYC. :) I like being the guide for newcomers ... I like to share the wealth. So many people live in NYC and don't take advantage of the theater here! Such a waste.
So...at my umpteenth time at Jersey Boys, John Lloyd Young (who plays the role of Frankie Valli) made a special touch to my playbill and signed it "To Loooovemuffin!"So funny. He said he wrote that because that's how Titus Burgess, the original Hal Miller, said that line that way. John truly is one of the nicest guys on Broadway...he always makes sure to ask me how school is going and says "hello" to Jolene.
The music in Jersey Boys is so exciting, I swear I listen to this all day on my iPod and I'm still not sick of it. I guess the tunes are truly timeless.

I STILL haven't seen it. Wait! Don't shoot me :) For some reason I just haven't ever been able to do the rush over the past few years. I realy should though, as I hear nothing but great things bout it. Have a friend that is doing the tour but haven't seen that either.....

the original cast still is all still there (the main 4 guys)...and it's such a great show.
I get standing room (the only show I will stand for) since student rush is waaay too difficult to get for this show. the students get there literally at 4AM for tickets that go on sale at 10AM. craziness...
matt, who's the guy on tour that you know? just saw them again yesterday. ;)
Sorry, definitely forgot that I had commented on this. The guy that I know (I use that term loosely) is Erich Bergen. I need to get my butt to the theater to see the show before the 4 leave. perhaps i'll work my connections this summer to get a ticket because I am too lazy to stand in line right now haha!
