met opera rush

Waiting in the rush line at the Met Opera, for Barber of Seville. I got there at 3:15PM (the $20 rush tickets go on sale at 5:30PM) and I was number 76 out of 100 (2 tickets per person, 200 available). Totally worth it to see Bartlett Sher's production, with Juan Diego Florez at Count Almaviva. "Opera pyrotechnics" (said by Jolene) at its best; with light comedy to boot.
